Salt's Payment Policy
In order to participate in ANY of the class/co-op/field trips offered by Salt Hybrid Academy, you MUST first register to be a member of our homeschool group. There is a NON-REFUNDABLE registration fee of $135.00 per family which covers both Salt’s annual registration fees plus provides access to homeschool group activities, field trips, forums, etc. offered through the website. Registration is annual and will need to be renewed each year by June. Active members will receive a notification when it is time to renew. Once you have been accepted as a member of our homeschool group (you will be notified by email), you may then begin registering your child for classes. In addition, an Annual Student Enrollment Fee of $90 is charged per student. Class registration opens July 10th for classes beginning the following August.
Please be advised that all Salt’s classes run from August until May and children are expected to participate for the entirety of the classes. Class registration fees listed are ANNUAL fees and the schedule of due dates are listed below.
Salt’s Class Payment Policies
At the time of class registration, you must make a minimum payment of 10% of your total balance in order to hold your spot in your chosen classes. Members may choose to continue making payments monthly, quarterly, or in full and must pay at least the first quarter balance by August 15th. Your child will not be able to continue participating in his/her class if payments are not made on time. Any families who drop out of classes after the 2 week grace period will be assessed a $25 drop fee per class and will be charged the full first semester of the class price and will not be eligible to re-register until this is paid in full.
Salt’s Refund Policy
Registration fees and payments for services rendered are never refundable. However, those wishing to withdraw from classes before they begin (after making payment upfront) may be eligible for a refund of up to 90% less the $25 dropout fee.
Anyone who continues to participate in classes after January 1st, and then chooses to discontinue classes may not be eligible for any refund of payment. (We may choose to make accommodations in these situations on a case-by-case basis.)
If you register for classes in January, you will be charged the second semester pro rated price. This price does not change for late registration January through May.
